Mounting holes in top cap are tapped 5/16"-18 UNC thread. The lower cap has a very powerful rare earth magnet inserted to trap any steel or iron debris. Maximum diameter is about 3.25" and the overall length is about 6-1/4". Included is one Baldwin P1433 oil filter. This housing will also accept a Fram CH8765 filter or any oil filter that fits a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. These filters are very common on many newer cars and should be easy to find come replacement time NOT FOR TWIN CAM FITS EVOLUTION
